My name is Emre, and I build Vuleo on my own. This page explains what the PRO subscription pays for.
Why PRO exists
Vuleo is my full-time job. One person wrote and tested every part of it. This includes the player itself, Cloud Sync and Chromecast.
The subscription pays for the following work:
- New features and requests from users
- Bug fixes, which I work through myself
- Support for new devices, TV boxes and OS releases
- Running costs for Cloud Sync and the metadata services
- The time to keep doing all of it
What I'm aiming for
I want a player that opens fast and plays your sources. After that, it should not demand your attention.
Many features in Vuleo today started as an email from a user. If you tell me something is missing, I add it to my list.
One PRO, all platforms
One subscription covers every platform where Vuleo runs:
- iOS (iPhone & iPad)
- Android (phones & tablets)
- Android TV & Fire TV
- Apple TV
- Windows
- macOS
The TV builds get the same attention as the phone builds. Android TV and Fire TV have their own layout for the ten-foot screen. You can control all of it with the remote.
What PRO adds
Vuleo is free to use. Metadata, the TV guide, watch progress, favorites and playlists cost nothing. There are no limits on any of them. PRO adds the following features:
- Cloud Sync: your watch progress and library follow you to every device
- Offline Downloads: save from your own sources and watch with no connection
- Chromecast support: send what you are watching to any Chromecast in the house
- Catch-Up TV: if your source offers catch-up, play it straight from the guide
- Trakt: sync your watchlist, scrobble what you watch, and get picks
- Personalized picks: recommendation rows built from what you watch
- EPG search, subtitle customization and new-content alerts
PRO also supports an independent app. No company or investor pays the costs of Vuleo.
What I can promise
I read every review and every support email, and I answer them myself. Bug reports go to the top of my list. I consider every feature request carefully and build the ones that make sense.
